📦 Product Description
- A multi-purpose sand and water play table made for children, working as both a sandpit and a water tray, with a folding lid. It sparks creativity and hands-on discovery of the natural world.
- Inlet and outlet underneath: connect a hose to fill or drain, and use the red handle to control the flow.
- Made of PP plastic with a galvanised steel frame, safe, sturdy, UV- and leak-resistant, and easy to clean. The height suits young children playing while standing.
✨ Benefits
- Rich tactile experiences: dry sand, wet sand and water all feel different. Children can move at their own pace from tools to fingertips to whole hands, building tolerance gradually, while tactile seekers get the input they crave.
- Sand and water play helps calm: the steady rhythm of pouring and sifting draws children in, and it is often used for sensory regulation to help upset or overactive children settle.
- Learning through play: digging, pouring, building and carrying develop fine motor skills and two-handed coordination; watching water flow, things float and sand change builds spatial thinking, observation and curiosity; and playing around one table naturally practises sharing tools, taking turns and teamwork.
🎮 How to Play / Use
- Sand and water creations: start with dry sand and a spade, letting it run through the fingers. Slowly add water, compare dry and wet sand, and build castles or dig channels together. For tactile-sensitive children, begin with tools and move towards touching with hands over time.
- Float or sink: drop different objects into the water (sponge, plastic spoon, stone, leaf), and have children guess "float or sink?" before testing. Or work in teams to fill with cups and see who floats a little boat first, practising observation, prediction and cooperation.
