🎯 Suitable For

  • Age: recommended 4 years and up (younger children with adult supervision)
  • Best for: children learning to skip and developing jumping and hand-foot coordination; children with ADHD who benefit from rhythmic jumping for calming proprioceptive and vestibular input; children practising rhythm, timing and bilateral coordination; students preparing for school skipping tests or competitions
  • Settings: kindergarten and school PE lessons, recess, home, outdoor playgrounds

📦 Product Description

  • A kids skipping rope with handles, 2.8 m long and adjustable to suit each child's height.
  • The thick rope is hard-wearing, soft and tangle-resistant, making it easier for beginners.
  • ABS handles (3.5 × 12 cm) are designed for children, sized for small hands with a comfortable grip.

✨ Benefits

  • Hand-foot and bilateral coordination: turning the rope with both hands while timing each jump trains hand-foot coordination, bilateral coordination and motor planning.
  • Rhythm and balance: continuous skipping needs a steady rhythm and balanced landings, so regular practice builds rhythm, timing and balance with proprioceptive and vestibular input.
  • Healthy habits and a sense of success: skipping is simple to learn and can be done anywhere. Children can track how many jumps they manage in a row, see their progress and build confidence and an active habit.

🎮 How to Play / Use

  • Learn in steps: beginners first practise swinging the rope from back to front so it lands in front of the feet, then jumping on the spot, then putting both together, one swing, one jump. An adult can count the beat to help with rhythm.
  • Skipping challenge: once confident, aim for 10 or 30 jumps in a row, or try one-foot jumps, side-to-side jumps or backward swings. Groups can record jumps in one minute and compare progress each week.
