📦 Product Description
- A set of six large toss-and-catch discs in different colours, with six bean bags. Each disc is 60 cm across with four elastic cords.
- Use in pairs or groups of four, each child holding a cord to launch and catch the bean bag together. Discs can also be used solo for catching contests, or to carry light objects to a target.
- Made of plush fabric, polyester and elastic cord, soft and lightweight. The six discs let up to 12 children play at once, making this a great tool for building teamwork.
✨ Benefits
- Nobody can do it alone: to launch and catch accurately, everyone must pull at the same time with the right force and rhythm. Children naturally communicate, watch their partners and coordinate movements, making this real-life social cooperation practice.
- Pulling the cords takes both hands working together with controlled force, giving upper-limb proprioceptive input and training bilateral coordination, timing and hand-eye coordination.
- Clear, concrete goals (launch it, catch it, carry it there) help children understand what cooperation means, and shared success builds confidence and a sense of belonging.
🎮 How to Play / Use
- Group toss: two to four children share a disc and practise launching and catching the bean bag on the spot. Once confident, two groups face each other and launch the bean bag across to the other disc, gradually moving apart. Adults can cue "1, 2, 3, pull!" to help with timing.
- Team carry relay: each group places a bean bag or light ball on their disc and walks together to drop it into a target basket without letting it fall. Add obstacles or a timer to practise communication, matching steps and patience.
